    We uphold global standards for human rights and labor practices, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. These principles apply to every employee across our Korean and global operations, from headquarters to subsidiaries, and extend to everyone affected by our business, including customers, shareholders, partners, and local communities. We expect human rights to be respected at every level of our operations and upheld by everyone we work with.

    Samhwa Paints provides human rights education to raise awareness and promote a culture of respect. We aim to foster a workplace where every employee understands the value of diversity and inclusion and puts it into practice, building a healthy, discrimination-free environment. Through these programs, we reaffirm the importance of human rights and work together to create a company where everyone feels respected.

    Samhwa Paints conducts human rights impact assessments across our supply chain to identify stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, partners, consumers, and local communities, who may be directly or indirectly affected by serious human rights risks.
    ※ Based on these assessments, the Human Rights Management Committee may recommend appropriate measures for the company to take.
  • Remedy and reporting mechanisms
    Anyone who has experienced or become aware of a human rights violation can report it through the grievance channel on our website. All reports are thoroughly reviewed by the responsible department, and appropriate actions are discussed and taken. We strictly protect the identity of the whistleblower and enforce a zero-tolerance policy against retaliation or any disadvantage resulting from a report.
